Going Rogue – With Pictures!

I realize I haven’t given you anything to read since Sunday, and I am working to remedy the situation.  In the meantime, your eyes deserve a rest from reading nothing but text.  With that in mind, I invite you to visit a lovely coastal town, Carmel-by-the-Sea, courtesy of Tales From Carmel.
Drink in the photographs by blogger Linda Hartong and imagine yourself living in one of Carmel’s fairytale cottages, like this one:

Naturally, a town like this would not be complete without its own quirky little bookstore, which – Linda assures us – always has something new to discover.  Happy dreaming!  – Jen

    I adore Carmel-By-The-Sea.

We ate at the Hogsbreadth Inn, owned by Clint Eastwood, and sat on the sloping sand, neath swaying palms, to watch the waves of the Pacific roll in.

Peace on a day that has offered challenges to so many in the world.

    • Oh – lucky girl! My dad visited Carmel when he was posted nearby during his stint in the Army. He’s never forgotten it, and I can see why.
Do you have plans to visit there again?
